Established in 1993, the Great Flag Caper has been recognized metro wide for involvement in and promotion of civic awareness. Each year, more than 300 volunteers unite to plant over 40,000 flags across the community to promote kindness, inclusion, unity, respect and patriotism. There's always a seat for everyone at the Great Flag Caper dinner table. Caper motto: We do not live in America. America lives in us!
As part of its community partnerships initiative, IAM is hosting an exhibition highlighting the Great Flag Caper's history within the Irving community.
